The keenly awaited follow-up to Rocket Science Galactic Ale is Halo of Saturn.
This Double IPA is dubbed ‘Hop Behemoth’ due to its somewhat excessive hopping regime of Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial & Galaxy hops. Six separate hop additions throughout the brewing process – including dry hopping – contribute to the result.
Brewed with a blend of specialty malts, Halo of Saturn delivers a combo of spicy orange zest, grapefruit, herbs and pine notes on the nose.
Beneath the ‘hop haze’ the palate is full and rich with hop bitterness beautifully balanced by weight from the massive grain bill and 8% ABV.
