In the summer of 2011, The Salish Lodge and Spa installed an apiary that is now home to hundreds of thousands of honeybees. Pollinating the local flora, the apiary’s happy residents produce over 2,000 pounds of fresh, delicious, organic honey each year. The Salish Lodge sells the honey in the gift shop and even offers its guests honey-based spa treatments. Chefs use the honey for menu items in the Dining Room and bartenders use it to create cocktails in the lounge. Now, you can drink it in a beer. Only available at The Salish Lodge’s Attic Lounge.
