Great Dane’s Uber Bock is a rich, strong, malty, medium- to full-bodied bottom fermented beer with low to moderate hops levels. Don’t look for a lot of flowery aroma or bitterness in this beer! The two base malts for this beer are Light and Dark Munich Malt, grown in Germany, these malts have significantly more depth and flavor than your typical pilsen or pale malts. This is combined with some Crystal and Honey Malt to add to its complexity. It is mashed in Twice so that the maximum malt sugar can be extracted and put into one beer. In the end the depth of character is front and center on this beer but the mistake and awesomeness is that it is BALANCED! It’s not too sweet, or too dry or too alcoholic!
