Belgian Golden Ale aged in Chardonnay Barrels. One of two in our Adventure Brews wine barrel aged releases, this beer was brewed in Feb. 2012 and aged for 1 year in Flat Rock Chardonnay Barrels. Brewed with German malts, fermented with a Belgian yeast, and hopped with Styrian Goldings hops. Brettanomyces contributes an earthy funkiness that is balanced by peach and pear notes from the chardonnay barrel. The beer finishes with a slightly tart and dry finish. Unfiltered and still active, flavours will continue to develop in the bottle. Goedemorgen is the Belgian term for “Good Morning”.
