This beer is the twelfth installment of our Portland Pale Project. We are undertaking this project to highlight the variety within this style and the creativity within our brewers, as well as revisit old favorites and experiment with new materials. Falconer’s Flight is a project our hop provider, Hop Union, has created in memorial of Glen Hay Flaconer, well loved and regarded brewer from the Eugene area. Like him, this special blend of hops was created to represent the spirit of pioneering Northwest beers. The “7 C’s” comes from the 7 aromatic hop varieties that begin with “C” (Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, Columbus, Crystal, Citra, Cluster). These hops are known for their distinctly American qualities: Floral, Citrus & Exotic Fruits. We hope you enjoy exploring this custom blend as much as we enjoyed brewing it, and raise a glass to Glen.
