When Chris, our brewer, stood in the brewery one day and said, "You know, there’s really no German equivalent of an ESB..." the answer seemed pretty simple: Make one. So, he did. What you’ve got is a hybrid style - an English malt base, with German specialty malts, and a huge helping of German hops. We even dry-hopped it with whole leaf Hallertau Magnum and Hallertau Tradition.
