If the ABV was a bit higher there would be no question, but given it’s only 2.9% it’s tricky to call it a black IPA. But given the precedent of not splitting out black IPA based on ABV (i.e. we have black IPAs on the site ranging from 5% or slightly less all the way up past 10%), black IPA might be the best style fit. The beer is certainly to hoppy to be called a mild, in most peoples’ opinions. So there you go. ]
