Gustavus is the second in our Six Soldiers of Fortune Series where we will feature historic German sour beers. It’s a traditional Litchenhainer with a sour flavor that blends with a noticeable smokey characteristic. The low alcohol provides easy drinkability but the smokiness add complexity. Hints of salt and bacon undertones, this is a very unique beer.
