The first in our Queen’s Limited release series is the Wheat Wine. This Beer is based on a homebrew recipe from the Brew Bubbas. It is a Barleywine that has wheat as the majority of its grain bill. It is very rich and smooth to drink. This beer was brewed with 51% wheat and 49% barley. We used 300 lbs of torrified wheat for just 100 gallons of beer. The torrified wheat fermented out clear and gave the beer a very smooth rich flavor and produced a fruity aroma. This is definitely a unique and different flavor in a beer. Each of the Queen’s Limited Releases will be a one time brew. If they sell out and you don’t get some..... you just miss out! (But if the people storm the castle with pitchforks demanding more, the Queen may choose to have it brewed again.)
