This ale was soured in the kettle for four days with Lactobacillus Brevis. We then boiled the wort, killing the bacteria. We finished the fermentation in the fermenter with chico ale yeast. Petit Sour is fruity with aromas of apple, lemon, and orange. The flavor is pleasantly sour with some sweetness up front. Like a Berliner Weisse this beer is not barrel aged.
