Originally released in 2003 as a 25th anniversary beer. Became an occasional Spring seasonal, then appeared finally as a special in August 2013.
It has a bold and beautifully balanced hop bitterness and a fine fresh aroma achieved through generous late-hopping with Wye Challenger.
Nose: Malty, hoppy
Palate: Dry, malty
Comments: Bold Forester has an attractive amber hue, a smooth biscuity malt character and a crisp dry finish.
