What can we say about Denise. Well she smokes a little, she has a little bit of spice & she is a little tart. This beer is an original creation form the team at Hunter Beer Co. and is a little bit out there; which for us is all part of the fun, playing with ingredients and styles creating something new. The beer pours a hazy yellow colour, smoky bacon on the nose, creamy mouth-feel with a smoked ham flavour and finishes dry with a spicy note, it leave a gentle tartness in your mouth. It is surprisingly drinkable for a beer with a lot happening and you would never guess this beer has a higher abv. Originally brewed for a beer/food degustation try pairing this beer with gamey canapés or serving with a Thai beef salad. 8.2% abv, malt: pale/pilsener/rauch/vienna/wheat/munich, hops: east kent goldings, yeast: french& belgian saison, 18IBU, 6EBC.
