Doppelbock is exactly that - a classic German style lager and Upright’s first. Using a new Vienna malt from Briess Maltings of Wisconsin, along with darker and richer varieties, this lager has aromas and flavors similar to a fruit bread. It’s residual sugar is balanced by a slight caramel malt edge and light acidity. Fermented with two yeast strains for extra complexity. 8.85%
