Opaquely black from the mix of black and chocolate malts and characterized by the distinct, sharp slightly sour "dry" flavor of un-malted roasted barley, finished with an infusion of oak spiral soaked Irish whiskey to achieve the flavor of aging in a whiskey cask. A great authentic beer for toasting the memory of the Irish Brigade of the Mexican-American War, known as the San Patricios.
