Brightside Odin

Brightside Brewing Co.
Manchester, Greater Manchester
Beer style: Blonde Ale / Golden Ale
Ref: ratebeer.com May2024

Common descriptors are
Cask & bottle conditioned; Regular.

Odin - The name inspired by the Viking God of warriors and battle. A big name for a small beer, the only connection being that the Vikings were Scandinavian, and Scandinavians are usually blonde! OK so the Vikings might well have had red hair, get over it!

A very pale blonde ale. European Noble hops form the basis with three fruity American varieties added late. The lack of any coloured malt allows the late hops to come through clearly in the taste and aroma. Refreshing and light bodied but not thin. Created to meet modern demand - light, hoppy and below 4%.
