Cracked Up
A Big Rock Sales Rep, was telling Brewmaster Paul about a bar manager that said his go to beer on a Sunday morning was Grasshopper Wheat Ale with a couple of shakes of cracked black pepper. Paul was intrigued by the notion of adding pepper to our krystallweizen so he went up to the taproom, poured a pint of Grass, added a couple of shakes of black pepper and was blown away that this concoction actually worked. He went on a search for the best black pepper he could find, Tellicherry Black Pepper was his choice, and purchased 75 kgs to produce the total forecast. Cracked Pepper Wheat Ale had been born.

Little Known Fact
Tellicherry whole black peppercorns are left on the vine longer so they develop a deep, rich flavor. Considered the finest pepper in the world, these extra-large berries come from India.
