Common descriptors are
In our family, a certain patriarch is casually known as the "Silverback" but goes by "Top Gorilla" in formal situations. It’s a fitting name for a king of the corporate jungle and contender for alpha status in the family. We chuckle at his chest drumming from time to time because in those instances, he might as well peel a banana or drop to his knuckles and run through the trees. What separates a Top Gorilla from the rest of the band isn’t just the silver color of his back-hair. (See "silverback"). A long-reigning Top Gorilla is a benevolent leader who asserts dominance only rarely, but frequently pounds his chest to remind other chimps who’s the king of the jungle. This beer is too sophisticated for most peoples’ primal tastebuds. It’s for refined primates only. The unique and complex tones of this Belgian style ale will give you hints of the polished nuances and subtleties only held by a top CEO, company president, or barrel-throwing legend of the Nintendo dynasty. We called up R&D for a Belgian recipe and they brought us a fruit basket of an ale with notes of cloves, bananas, and golden-raisins. It’s so complex it’s almost like trail mix. A good pick for a walk through the jungle. Take a look at the numbers: BJCP "Style": Belgian Tripel 7.7% alc./vol.
