A bunch of Rye Malt and also some Munich Malt needed to be used. A also a Mandarina Bavaria. This hop has very high Myrcene Oils measuring over 70% (in beer nerd speak this usually means very citrusy). It packs an intense Tangerine aroma and flavor, nice and orange like.
Anyway the end result is a very high ABV beer (a tad over 9%) that has a very smooth citrus finish. We will be tapping it on Saturday with Kelly, the 24th! |
