I am excited to be able to offer you a brew that means a great deal to me. While paying my dues at the Sockeye, I was honored to have brought home a gold medal in 2009 from the North American Beer Awards in the strong pale category for the Precocious Imperial Pale or P.Im.P. for short. It was brewed seasonally after that and always well received. When I moved on to Boise Brewing, that beer was essentially retired. I thought it would be most fitting to dust off the old purple fedora and put the P.Im.P. back into action for our first monthly beer offering. While the recipe has been slightly altered for integrity purposes, it tastes just as good as ever.
