Our brewery resides in what was formerly the burro barn for the Manitou Burro Line in the late 1800s. Visitors to Manitou Springs would come to this very spot to rent a burro, which was then used to summit Pike’s Peak. You can’t get a burro here anymore, but you can get the beer paying homage to all those brave burros over a century ago. This American Brown Ale is a subtle blend of chocolate and caramel-toffee flavors, moderately bittered to balance the sweetness of this medium-to-full-bodied ale.
