Deep in the Hellsgate runs a true desert oasis. Haigler Creek has all the beauty one could imagine, yet surrounded by high desert cliffs with scorching hot sun. While the beards were trudging through this riparian bliss they dreamed up this recipe, hence the name. We smoked 50 pounds of pilsner malt over applewood to create that smokey depth. As a Saison should, it finished extremely dry and highly quaffable. With a name like Hellsgate, only an imperial smoked saison would do it justice.
