Its distinctive Rose color is what immediately grabs your attention. We add over a pound per barrel of dried Hybiscus petals to our Belgian Wit to create the welcoming color. The Hybiscus petals are high in ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and blend well with the orange peel and coriander flavors of the Wit. With the high acid level from the Vitamin C, the beer has a tartness that is most frequently described as “refreshing” and “Champagne-like”. Belgian yeast are used to ferment this beer and add to the attractive aroma and complex flavor.
