Common descriptors are
This beer pours like a classic Belgian-style Saison should, straw-like and hazy accompanied with a bright white frothy head. The aromas are of pepper-y yeast with some grassy undertones, slightly perfume-y, mild esters notes and fruity Citra hops. Taking a sip this beer has a gentle medium rounded body with the right amount of carbonation. The malts used – pale, wheat, honey with an addition of oats as well makes way for a smooth mouth feel. Across the palate you’ll find that French ale yeast shining through, slightly funky but not over the top and adds some dryness on the end. The Citra hops lend some mild fruity notes and a pleasant bittering finish. Overall a solid Saison hitting all the right notes that you would except from the style. Well done Connor!!!
