Sour hefe aged a year and a half in Chardonnay barrels, then topped with over 100 lbs of pressed Roussanne grape skins for a 3 bbl batch. This beer has big bright white wine flavors, and aroma of lemon and citrus, with a touch of lacto and subtle grape skin tannin in the background. Not exceedingly tart, but bright and easy drinking, with a pleasant meld of wine and sour beer flavors.
