Our beers run the full gamut of light to dark and our dark is a bit of a looker: body of dark mahogany, rosy hues in the dimple of your glass and a carpet of latté coloured head that lasts from pouring to the bottom of the glass. Charry roastiness is the initial hallmark of the aroma with savoury cocoa and woodchips coming to the party. The carbonation washes over the tongue, keeping a touch of gently astringent bitterness alive like a hot chocolate made with bitter cocoa, balanced out with brown sugar. You should be pleased by a mousse-like texture on a dry finish. Is it a dessert beer or winter beer? We would ask why you would limit yourself?
