Dubious Proposal is a red sour beer aged in oak barrels with strawberries, blackberries, and traces of raspberries. With notes of berries and berries, undertones of berries really enhance the berry aroma.

Dubious Proposal is our second release in the Dubious Series. What’s that? Well, it all starts with being open to letting the creative juices flow. Often, the barrels that we’re tasting are created with the intent of being blended to make a specific beer. However, as our team tastes through barrels, a metaphorical light bulb will switch on, and we’ll come up with a blend that combines a variety of barrels that we didn’t originally intend on blending. Ideas that may appear as suspect when proposed, can often surprise us in reality. The barrels speak, and we listen. At its core, the Dubious Series is simply another way for us to encourage creativity throughout the blending process.
