Months in the planning, this process included foraging for FRESH, early summer growth of Douglas Fir, and Western Hemlock needle tips, at Ponderosa State Park. 13 pounds of tips were harvested, and added to the boil kettle. We selected Doug, and Western Hemlock tips, due to their more citrusy, vs piney component, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Enjoy a subtle citrus, and melon aroma and flavor, with a soft, but unmistakable "tree tip" flavor, on the front, and mid palate.
