Exmoor Ales is celebrating its 35th anniversary with the release of a new, easy-drinking, golden hoppy beer, XPA.
The 4-8% ABV brew uses two American hops (Willamette and Cascade) alongside the more traditional English varieties Fuggles and Goldings.
Exmoor Ales’ owner and managing director, Jonathan Price, said: “For our new beer, XPA, head brewer, Adrian Newman, has produced a slightly more modern IPA style incorporating some American hops for bitterness, but tempered with a sweetness in the mash to produce another classic, easily drinkable Exmoor beer.
The beer is being launched at the Great British Beer Festival in Olympia, London.
