Our Colorado Pale Ale beer is an excellent example of the APA category, brewed with multiple malts and only American hops. It is definitely not your average beer – the original recipe by Josh West from Lone Tree Brewery in Denver Colorado takes a traditional American Pale Ale to the Alpine areas of the Rocky Mountains requiring an adjustment to the brewing due to the altitude and ambient air pressure. Unpasteurized and unfiltered and brewed with premium ingredients, the result is a fruitier aroma with citrus notes. The lighter amber color is characteristic of malts originally from Europe and the northern part of Colorado. The palate has a pleasant lingering bitterness and citrusy tones. 13.9°
