The San Joaquin Worthogs has been the homebrew club of the Central Valley since 1989, and this is their first ever collaboration brew. Our tribute to local homebrewers and hopheads, this unfiltered IPA has a sturdy malt backbone and dry finish to showcase the deliciously juicy and citrusy American hops we use. Chinook and Columbus provide a strong yet smooth bitterness, while Simcoe, El Dorado and Columbus provide flavors of pineapple, melon and bittersweet citrus. We used nearly 2lb per barrel at dry-hop to get all of the fruit, pine and citrus aromas the West Coast IPA is known for.
