A pronounced German Noble hop profile lends hints of green apple, butterscotch and caramel on the nose. Effervescent white foamy head and rich golden body, this pilsner has a clean dry finish with a slight and spicy bite on the end. Not as malt forward as its Bohemian cousin. This beer is named for Josef Groll, a Bavarian brewer who invented the "Pilsener" style and is known as the "Father of the Pils".
