TASTING NOTES: You don’t have to be religious to enjoy a tasty, papal-inspired brew. A simple grain bill means the hops of this pale ale shine bright... and boy, are there hops. An unholy amount, you might even say. Since a one-time special brew should be done as over-indulgently as possible, we added three times our usual amount for the dry hop, to the tune of almost three pounds per barrel. It’s sensory overload... in the most pleasing way possible. Bone dry and bursting at the seems with notes of tropic and exotic fruits, this beer will make you want to open wide and guzzle back, ’cause You Only Pope Once. That’s the motto people, #YOPO.
