This naturally hazy number combines Kiwi-grown Wheat and Pilsener malts with German Rye and Spelt. An inventive combination of Belgian Saison yeast and a strain of wild yeast called Brettanomyces bruxellensis result in a dry, spicy and fruity brew with wonderful aromatics of banana, orange and subtle clove. A massive amount of NZ Lime, Orange and Grapefruit zest and a dusting of our own Mountain Pepper Tree, Horopito, result in a warming, citrus-rich farmhouse ale. Inspired by the Belgians but with its roots firmly here in Aotearoa.
