Black Bull was brewed to celebrate the opening of the new Matador Mexican Grill in Loveland. Grimm is proud to be the first beer on tap and this beer was named by a contest by one of their fans.

Baltic Porters were derived from English porters that were introduced to the Baltics in the 18th century. Although influenced by Russian imperial stouts they lack the powerful roast and instead have more of a malty character. They are typically fermented with lager yeast, as is Black Bull. Baltic porters were largely forgotten in the west until the fall of the iron curtain in the 1980’s when craft brewers re-introduced the style.
