“Dark Star” Belgian Dark Strong: This brew starts with a rich effervescent head which slowly dissipates as you imbibe. Aromas of sweet malt and toasted raisin fill the glass while subtle hints of prune cascade across the nose. It is as sweet as it smells having been brewed with loads of Dark Belgian Candi syrup and roasted aromatic malts. It was brewed with a small amount of star anise and coriander for an authentic feel however their flavors are not overwhelming.
