Emmett’s Oktoberfest is a vision to behold. The beautiful copper color of the beer supports a dense cream-colored head, which alludes to what is sure to be an incredible beer. With the rich copper color, one would expect this beer to have a notable caramel character. Not true. The Oktoberfest has a warm malt character that is reminiscent of fresh baked bread that’s been toasted. That complex malt combined with a subtle, but firm bitterness helps this beer achieve a balance second to none. Emmett’s Oktoberfest finishes malty and effervescent with a light fruityness and a whisper of hop spice.
