Barrel Aged Series

Cherry porter has a rich character, redolent of Black Forest Cake, intensified by the fresh American oak bourbon barrels its accommodated for the past 6 months. Just for good measure, we’ve added an extra dose of sweet and sour cherries to each barrel to secure the bittersweet chocolate, vanilla and tart fruit notes that make this brew one to be reckoned with.

Aging our beer in barrels previously used to age other types of alcohol is one more way we are pushing the boundaries of the wild frontier of beer. This not only adds delicious, complex flavours to the beer, it creates a limited edition batch that is one-of-a-kind (just like the independent spirits that prefer things on the Wold side). Batches are small, so heed the call of the barrel-aged Wild whole you can.
