Formerly known as the Gasthaus Pilsner

The PriSim Pilsner is a lager beer. Named for Jeff Lefevre, who one the naming rights and brewed with Greg (for a little while anyway), at this past years Main Street Street Dance. We brew the Pilsner using specialty German malts and Czech hops. The color of this beer is very pale yellow and has the aroma of fresh Saaz hops. The flavor of the beer is that of a hop bitterness and crisp, clean malt taste. Because this beer is a lager as opposed to an ale it has a very clean taste and crisp finish. Sometimes lagers like this one tend to have a light sulphur smell, we choose to lager or store ours for a great deal of time at very cold temperature to ensure that flavor goes away. The aroma that is produced is exclusively from the use of Saaz hops which give it a grassy and spicy smell.
