Single hop series.

These are all single hop beers and as with the occasional beers these beers are brewed depending on availability of hops and what mood I’m in. They are all variations on the theme of pale and excessively hoppy and frankly I can’t be bothered to write that many sets of almost identical tasting notes. Therefore if you need tasting notes for any of these beers they are; A pale, very hoppy beer brewed using [insert name] hops.

Willamette is generally perceived as a new, yet good quality aroma hop. The rub of the hops gives an estery/blackcurrant/herbal aroma that is very pleasant but can be quite strong. Differing results have been achieved with this variety. Some brewers have found it to be a suitable replacement for Fuggle, others have had poor results when using it this way but have found that it stand up admirably as an aroma variety on its own merits.
