Common descriptors are
Our current rotating Blast Furnace Stout is a Mexican Mole Stout. It is an American style Stout. That means that it is not a dry stout, not a sweet stout, and we used American grown hops. This is a style which is evolving in the United States. Our version is very big and malty. The Chocolate malt and twenty five pounds of unrefined cocoa gives this beer a deep chocolate flavor. The body is full and it has many complex flavors; caramel and roasted flavors. We also added cinnamon sticks, as well as, four pounds of chili peppers from our garden to the whirlpool at the end of the boil. Up front you will notice a chocolate aroma in the nose of the beer. . The beer finishes with a little chili pepper burn in the back of your throat. We also dry hopped this beer with four pounds of chili peppers in the serving tank. This will allow the heat to build in the beer throughout its stay at the Church. I hope everyone enjoys this experiment from your mad brewers.
