A blending of two styles, an American strong pale ale with a Belgian pale ale, and brewed using a Trappist yeast and a healthy dose of American hops to give a fruity, citrus hop flavor and aroma balanced by a spicy yeast character. A subtle hint of Cherry wood smoke may be noticed as we hand smoked 20lbs of malt for use in this beer. Named after Iain’s puppy “Angel”, who is a crazy little thing, much like this beer.
