This year’s Old Curmudgeon is a Scotch Ale. It’s brewed with 2-Row Pale malt, Biscuit malt, Special B, and Roasted barley. Only two hop additions were used – Simcoe, as a bittering hop and Goldings for all of the flavor. No aroma hop was used to allow the strong malt character to show through. The ABV will be 7.8%!
