A relative novice when it comes to describing the characteristics of what I’m tasting, I’ll probably be providing more populist views -- good, bad or indifferent -- with a few good (well, good to me, anyway) reasons why. I also plan to make most of my observations on beers tasted at near-room temperature because I find that beer, like wine and cheese, reveals much less about itself when a refrigerator chill has suppressed many of its characteristics.
