I am a foodie as well as a beer geek. I think the two go well together. I come from a family 4 generations in the food business (that I know of). I own a butcher shop and love to cook too. So I enjoy complex and interesting flavours. I prefer dark malty strong beers with big round flavours, but am beginning to develop an appreciation for hops. Fortunately, the foodie in me can (and will) appreciate well done beers in any style.
