I discovered good beer after picking up a copy of "Real Ale in South Yorkshire" back in 1983. From that, we discovered the Fat Cat, in Sheffield, the area’s real ale flagship back then, and sampled many a great brew there. And from there, well, lets say we branched out, and we were hooked. Now, thirty years on, our philosophy in these days of world class beers is big, bold and brash flavours, and preferably a face full of hops!
