From the very first Olympia beer that I lifted from my dad’s stash in seventh grade I have always had fond memories that involve beer (and some I can’t remember). This is one of the many things that my husband Tom and I can agree on…Beer is a social beverage. There is something about the people you meet, the places you hang out, and how good it tastes on a hot summer day. Now that I am older I find that those moments and experiences mean more to me. Not only do I want to be able to preserve them, but also share them with others along with the new passion for bicycle riding and advocacy. Tom and I are not bicycle racers and you won’t see us in any Triathlons any time soon, but you could see us pedaling our single speed vintage cruisers from our home in Hayden Lake to downtown Coeur d’Alene or on one of our many adventures around this great state of Idaho.
