My first beer ever was an illicit splash of Coors Light shared with ROTC mates at age 16. I hated it. A few years later, though, I gave real beer a try, and haven’t turned back since. I live in Holland now, which is paradise for me with the wide availability of Belgian ales. Double IPA is my favorite. I’m moving to Washington DC this summer and am really interested in exploring the diverse flavors available from microbrewed beers in the US.
