A world traveller that has tasted beer in North America, Asia and Europe. My personal preference is for what is called "real ale". In the UK and this is non-carbonated, non-top pressured beer. No GAS either inside the beer or propelling it out a nozzle of some sort!
I believe that carbon dioxide often spoils the taste of a good beer and prefer it delivered direct from the cask/barrel via beer engine/hand pump. Simple vaccum pull delivery. Real Ale also hasn’t been killed off by pasteurisation. I support the diversification of beers everywhere and am fascinated to see how different tastes around the globe evolve. I frequent Canada and UK these days but travel whenever possible.
