Beer really is the universal beverage. It is high time that people grasp the economic reality of just how affordable are even the most venerated brews in today’s global market. At most you are paying $20 or so for a 750 of a world-class trappist abbey, where the begining price of some snooty first growth grand cru will run into the thousands. Balderdash I say, give me beer.
