Beer is to enjoy, to savour, to admire and not to get pissed by... Lately the beer-bug bit me, and I signed up, but I will take it slow in rating beers, mainly because I lack the discipline to write it all up, but also because I enjoy drinking and tasting with friends, who are beergeeks in the true sense, and they write it all down, while I can focus on discerning tastes and aroma, and add to their findings. I enjoy taking new (untasted) beers to my ratebeerian friens to add to their lists, because I will never catch them up anyway, and it’s a joy sharing a beautiful beer. So just tolerate me in this community, if I find something very special and can’t wait to open it, I might rate it myself out of sheer enthousiasm for the beer in hand, but I’m no collector of rates. Most beers on the long lists of my friends I have tasted aswell, and they wrote good reviews of it. I’m here to enjoy and do some research for the beers I’ve hunted down! [ less ]
